poking fun at people, one of my favorite activities, unless of course the person doesn't laugh too, then it's just called BEING MEAN

anyway, i was blog surfing and i found this blog - not going to tell you the url! - and, omg, the author's posts are so insert word here!! (i'm telling you to insert your own word 'cos i don't know what to say.)

so, okay, the person says in one entry that they're seriously angry with some one. and they use "wad the hell lor/lah/ler" at least six times!! omg!! i was going, *raises eyebrows* and laughing to myself

btw, in case you didn't know, i don't like seeing SINGLISH being written down. yeah yeah, call me prejudiced and whatever, but TO EACH HER OWN!!

i also DISLIKE it when people write like this: "lyk wad the f*** lor!! im lyk dying n thn he still lyk tht... tis is s*** lah!! bla...bla...bla..."

yeah, i think that's like a dialect of n00b$p34kz (noobspeak). a noob is someone annoying on the chat boards and always begging for free things.

normal n00b$p34kz goes like so:
-a lot of exclamation/question marks
-a lot of switching between capitals and lower case, eg. "wHaTeVeR!!!"
-using symbols/numbers to replace the usual letters, eg. "wH4+3v3RR!!!"
-and so on and so forth

SINGAPOREAN n00b$p34kz goes like this:
-a lot of punctuation (including exclamation and question marks), eg. "wad the f***...wad the hell!!!"
-using TOO MANY short forms of writing words, eg. lyk (like), tt (that), wad (what), etc, etc
-using TOO MANY words they learnt in school, eg. "moreover, i lyk, think you shd go f*** yrslf"

so NOW you know what a n00b is and why EVERYONE HATES them
